Join us for a kick-off fundraiser party for Shelton City Council member, Miguel Gutierrez.
Having found a 1935 farm house on half an acre of land through which Goldsborough Creek runs into the South Puget Sound, Miguel has embarked on his latest adventure: Organic farming and inviting guests to enjoy the good life. Self-sufficiency on a half acre is the goal. Miguel joined the board of Community LIfeline, a transitional homeless shelter that serves as a haven from cold weather, serves as a link to other social services, and serves hot meals. Now a City Council Member for the City of Shelton (Seat #7), he wants to serve as a voice for the voiceless, a bridge to the future, and a healer to the broken-hearted.
Miguel is proud to pursue the values that encourage inclusion, self-actualization, social justice, and progressive activism.
$5 suggested donation (no one turned away for lack of funds).
