THROUGHOUT DOWNTOWN SHELTON:

Join us for the 2025 Shelton Art Walk on Saturday, June 28th from 11 am to 7 pm. 

This event is a part of the Downtown Shelton Creative District and is an annually recurring celebration of art and creativity in our community.

In addition to the artists & performers featured at participating businesses throughout the downtown area, you can visit the Art Market on Cota Street, with 80+ participating artists, crafters, & food trucks.

EVENTS AT MARMO DURING THE ART WALK:

CRANKIE MEETS FAUVISM | Repeating performance between 11 am-12 pm

Crankies are little wooden stages that allow one to scroll a story or, in our case, a very long panel of art in the tradition of Fauvism. You will see colors and gestures on paper …and maybe a shadow puppet or two.

Collaborators: Meli Fassbender is a multidisciplinary artist who is driven by color and curvature, and drawing connections between inner and outer worlds. Originally from Bucks County, Pa, Meli now lives in Olympia with her daughter, dog, and cat. LLyn De Danaan is an anthropologist who dabbles and loves to weave, make assemblages, and portray and document alter egos and her dog, Apple. She is an Ohioan at heart, but has lived in Mason County on Oyster Bay for fifty years.

POETRY OPEN MIC WITH FEATURED READER: CHRIS DAHL | 4-6 pm
